Stole

Veterinary Surgeon

Stole - Veterinary Surgeon
Stole Veterinary Surgeon

"Hello I am Stojance Kokolanski but everyone calls me Stole! I have been a veterinary surgeon for 12 years. I studied in Sofia, Bulgaria and qualified as a veterinary surgeon in 2010 from the University of Veterinary Medicine, after qualifying I continued to work in Sofia until 2013 working with small animals, I then returned to Macedonia in early 2013 and worked in a mixed animal practice leaving in December 2013 when I moved to UK and started doing some locum work until I took a permanent role at Vet Partners.

In 2021 I decided on a change and moved to MediVet group, until now where I am joining the lovely team in Kettering. Born in Macedonia I moved to the UK in 2013 and registered with the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons. My family consists of my wife Kristina and our son Mario, we also have 2 pets, Teddy a cross Pomeranian / Chinese crested dog and Pufi a domestic shorthair cat that believes she is also a dog, that often joins us on a walk. I have a love of all animals but in particular I really like wolves! they are strong, fierce but amazingly beautiful, caring playful and above all else they are totally devoted to family, they look after their young as well as their old and injured, they live in large family groups and educate their young.

The best advice I can give a client is that prevention is far better than a cure, for example not giving a dog chocolate or raisins will save an expensive and painful treatment. Having a regular (6 monthly) check-up can also highlight any potential problems early when they have a better treatment rate rather than waiting for an issue to manifest."
