Practice Principal
Zara has been working in the veterinary profession for many years and enjoys all aspects of her job.
Zara enjoys looking after her boxer Herbie and spends most weekends having long walks in the country side with him. She also enjoys keeping fit by going to the gym.
Chief-operating Wooficer
Herbie is our resident Boxer and our Zara’s right-hand man! His favourite toy is pretty much any bone he can find! He also loves long walks in the countryside and the team absolutely love having him around the practice 🙂
Veterinary Surgeon
Lucian graduated in Romania in 2009, he joined us at Easipetcare in 2017 and returned to us in February 2020 as our head veterinary surgeon, Lucian has a very keen interest in surgery and he performs most of our surgeries here. Outside of work he enjoys spending time with his family and going on the occasional fishing trip.
Head Veterinary Nurse
Cai returns to the nursing team of Derby as Head Veterinary Nurse. He has an abundance of experience in many practices around Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire.
He lives with his two cats Kali and Rikku and holds the Certificate in Feline Nursing with the International Society of Feline Medicine!
Student Veterinary Nurse
Heather joined the easipetcare team in July 2017 after relocating from Essex and has studied/worked with animals for nearly ten years. She has a foundation degree in animal management, experience working in veterinary referrals and has recently qualified as a level 2 veterinary care assistant. Heather has a pet cat called Cosmo, a giant African snail called Rocky and shows a keen interest in exotic pets such as ferrets and lizards.

“It has always been a dream of mine to become a veterinary nurse. In the next few years I would love to start my veterinary nurse training and become qualified. I have always been surrounded by pets and at the minute I have 2 dogs, 3 guinea pigs, a tortoise and a bearded dragon.”

“I started working at Easipetcare Derby as a receptionist in December 2018 and I’m proud to have made the journey to SVN with the support of my colleagues. My menagerie currently consists of my Staffy X Collie named Comet, Koda my Polecat, Toucan my Chincilla and a Short Tailed Opossum called Bea!”

“My name is Ruth and I have worked as a receptionist in veterinary practices for 14 years. I love meeting people and their pets and the diversity the job gives. I have three dogs myself and love taking them for long walks on the beach. I have three grandchildren who i adore and love spending time with. 🙂”

Gill is one of our part time receptionists, she joined us in September 2020. Gill has lots of experience working within the veterinary industry, outside of work Gill enjoys spending time with her family (human and furry!) .
