We are keen to hear from experienced and passionate veterinary surgeons who will provide excellent customer and pet care, whilst maintaining a professional service within the easipetcare guidelines and protocols.

 

Our fast-paced small animal practice can get very busy, often with a high surgical case load.

    We are looking for an experienced Veterinary Surgeon to join our dedicated team at Dartford. We are open to suggestions of working days / hours to suit you, for example hours around school runs or condensing your hours to get more days off or just working during term time. We haven’t set the hours per week as we are open to a discussion however our normal working week is 40 hours over 4 days with a protected day off and 1in3 Saturday morning. There is no OOH.

    We are an RCVS accredited, established practice with easy access to Dartford town centre and London (we are also located opposite a busy retail park so it’s great for lunches or a quick shop before or after work). There is free parking and on arriving at our practice, you will be greeted by our light and open waiting room, adjoining the waiting room we have 3 dedicated consult rooms which lead directly on to our open plan preparation area. Our separate theatre is well equipped and provides a dedicated space for sterile procedures to be carried out. In addition to all of this (yes, there’s more!) the practice also has a designated space for diagnostic imagery & dentistry.  



    Want to know about the fantastic facilities available? To name but a few, our team have access to ultrasound, multiparameter, ECG, in house lab Inc. microscope, digital x-ray, dentistry & doppler.



    We want to help you settle in therefore as standard, you will have a dedicated induction program where you are assigned with a work buddy/mentor. We offer a nice mixture of surgery and 15 minute consultations with time available to work up complex cases and we are in a great position where we can offer a higher volume of surgery time if this is an interest of yours.

You would be welcomed by a supportive team consisting of 3 Veterinary Surgeons, 3 RVN's (we are looking for a 4th), 1 SVN, 1 ANA and our 7 supporting team members. We also regularly have visiting specialists in Orthopaedics, Cardiology and Imaging.

    Derby is a large and established practice with 4 consult rooms, separate cattery, kennel and isolation wards, a dedicated x-ray and ultrasound room, large theatre and prep room, and an in-house laboratory. The practice has excellent transport links, including the M1 and a direct train to London and we also have the lovely Peak District National Park nearby.



    Our practice has an established client base and our team is passionate about providing the best standard of care to both pet and client. We're also linked to Cats Protection, StreetVet, and donate unused pet food.

  • We are looking for a Veterinary Surgeon to join our Reading practice and work alongside our highly experienced, dedicated team.  This is a maternity cover position with a contract length of up to 9 months however we also have a permanent opportunity available. 
     
    This role provides a varied caseload which will allow you to develop your skills, with a nice mix of surgeries and consults. If you are interested in developing your skillset, we also have the opportunity to take on some Head Vet responsibilities. We also ensure time is allocated for admin on a daily basis which allows you to concentrate on your patients during the consult time. 

    We have rota patterns to suit you

    Typically, this position is full time over 4/5 days per week, working a combination of early shifts (8am-4.30pm) and late shifts (11am – 7.30pm), with 1:3 Saturday mornings and no OOH (when you work a Saturday, you gain a day in lieu).     To support the Practice Principal in the management of the veterinary practice and the development of the business, promoting improvements and being an active member of the Practice Management Team.

You will ensure your team have a customer-first approach and are confident in achieving KPI's that are set for this role and the team.
