Vet surgeon vacancies

We are keen to hear from experienced and passionate veterinary surgeons who will provide excellent customer and pet care, whilst maintaining a professional service within the easipetcare guidelines and protocols.

 

Our fast-paced small animal practice can get very busy, often with a high surgical case load.

  • The Role

    An exciting opportunity has become available for a Veterinary Surgeon to join our supportive and friendly team here in Dartford. Typically, this position is Full Time working 5 days per week however we can be flexible. 1:3 Saturdays. No OOH. Part Time will also be considered. We offer a great opportunity for Vets who have a surgical bias as we have a varied caseload with complex cases and you will be fully supported by our long standing and experienced nursing team. Consultations are 15 minutes, with admin time incorporated into your diary.

    Package

    • Up to £65,000 per annum DOE
    • Relocation Allowance paying up to £5,000, (subject to eligibility) & Visa Sponsorship
    • Bonus Scheme, (Average of £1k per month)
    • Progression: For those looking for that next step, we also have an excellent leadership opportunity to become a Lead Veterinary Surgeon. You will have the opportunity to work closely with the Practice Principal and contribute to the management, organisation and financial performance of the practice.

Our practice is conveniently located just off the M25 and is easily commutable from London (under 1hr). Our large and airy practice boasts 3 consult rooms; a dedicated x-ray and ultrasound room; a large modern theatre and prep room.

    About the Team and Culture

    We are a 4 Vet practice with a super supportive team of 3 RVN's, 1 SVN, 2 ANAs and our wonderfully efficient Receptionists. As a practice we advocate a “no blame” culture and strive to create an environment where individuals can develop both personally and professionally. Our clinic has an established client base and our team are passionate about providing gold standard care to our clients and their pets. Our highly experienced Practice Principal regularly provides rewards to our team with Costa Fridays and our monthly practice star award celebrates our employee’s achievements.

    We support and encourage CPDs / certificates and we have certificate holders to learn from. We have a visiting Orthopaedic/Soft tissue certificate holder who attends the practice as frequently as once per week. We also have a visiting Cardiologist and Diagnostic imaging specialist who visits on an ad hoc basis.

    Our ideal candidate would have post graduate experience. Both Full Time and Part Time applicants are welcome.

  • The Role
    An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Veterinary Surgeon, who is looking to further their career within the realms of leadership & management. Previous experience is desirable; however, this unique opportunity may also suit a Veterinary Surgeon looking to take their first steps into a senior role. Great clinical exposure with regular soft tissue surgeries with some Orthopaedic exposure. Our consultation times have also recently been increased to 15mins.

    Typically, this position is 4/5 days per week, with 1:3 Saturdays only, however we understand that one size doesn’t necessarily fit all, and so we may be able to offer a degree of flexibility around this standard pattern. No OOH or On Call.

    Salary

    The salary for the role is up to £65,000 per annum depending on experience with a relocation allowance of £5,000. Certificates are funded, encouraged, and supported at Easipetcare.

    You will have use of our modern theatre and prep area, with in house diagnostic equipment conveniently located within prep. Patients are also able to enjoy the comfort of our separate cattery and kennels.

  • FULL TIME RECEPTIONIST - Reading

    We are looking for a super friendly new Receptionist to join our busy and customer focused veterinary practice in Reading. The hours are 40 per week, including some Saturdays, late evenings and bank holidays on a rota. The shift patterns are a combination of earlies (8am – 4.30pm) and lates (11am – 7.30pm) This is a busy practice and you must have experience of dealing with high call volume in a fast paced customer service environment.
    The duties will be primarily reception, but will include some admin duties. Our ideal candidate would be patient, smiley, kind and caring and professional with both owners and their pets, efficient and organised and able to work hard and multi-task at busy times.

  • FULL TIME HEAD RECEPTIONIST / CLIENT CARE MANAGER - Kettering

    To support the Practice Principal in the management of the veterinary practice and the development of the business, promoting improvements and being an active member of the Practice Management Team.

    To manage, lead and develop the members of the Reception team to ensure excellent team work delivering a continuous high standard of customer care. You will ensure your team have a customer-first approach and are confident in achieving KPI's that are set for this role and the team. This role is 40 hours per week and will include earlies/lates/Saturday and bank holidays.

    Manage, lead and develop all support functions to ensure a continuous high level of customer care to our clients and their pets.
