Vet surgeon vacancies

We are keen to hear from experienced and passionate veterinary surgeons who will provide excellent customer and pet care, whilst maintaining a professional service within the easipetcare guidelines and protocols.

 

Our fast-paced small animal practice can get very busy, often with a high surgical case load.

  • We are looking for a Veterinary Surgeon to join us here at Reading and work alongside our highly experienced, dedicated team. Given our varied and diverse caseload, we can accommodate a Veterinary Surgeon with either a surgical or medical bias.

     

    Fix or flex – work life balance that works for you

     

    We would welcome both full and part time applicants. Typically, this position is full time over 5 days per week, working a combination of early shifts (8am-4.30pm) and late shifts (11am – 7.30pm), with 1:3 Saturdays and no OOH (when you work a Saturday, you gain a day in lieu). Our people are at the heart of everything that we do, that’s why we know that work-life balance is vital in supporting our people to be their best selves. Whether you are looking for hours around rush hour, a four-day week, or reduced working days/hours, we can fix or flex our patterns to suit you.

    Our practice is large and modern with 4 consult rooms; a dedicated x-ray and ultrasound room and a large modern theatre and prep room.

  • Find a supportive team and a world of opportunity with us 

     

    We are looking for a Veterinary Surgeon to join our Reading practice and work alongside our highly experienced, dedicated team.  This is a maternity cover position with a contract length of up to 9 months however we also have a permanent opportunity available.

     

    This role provides a varied caseload which will allow you to develop your skills, with a nice mix of surgeries and consults. If you are interested in developing your skillset, we also have the opportunity to take on some Head Vet responsibilities. We also ensure time is allocated for admin on a daily basis which allows you to concentrate on your patients during the consult time.

    Typically, this position is full time over 4/5 days per week, working a combination of early shifts (8am-4.30pm) and late shifts (11am – 7.30pm), with 1:3 Saturday mornings and no OOH (when you work a Saturday, you gain a day in lieu).   • A rare opportunity has become available for a Veterinary Surgeon to join our supportive and friendly team here in Kettering. You will be joining 4 Vets with a great support team - 5 RVN's led by our highly experienced Head Nurse who have been with us since our opening ten years ago, 1 SVN and our super friendly reception team of 5.

The practice has excellent transport links, including A14, M1 and a local train station, and is surrounded by beautiful parks as well as Twywell Hills and Dales.

  • Flexible working, no OOH - Your work/life balance is our priority

    We are looking for an experienced Senior/Head Veterinary Surgeon to join our dedicated team at Dartford. We are open to suggestions of working days/hours to suit you, for example hours around school runs or condensing your hours to get more days off or just working during term time. We haven’t set the hours per week as we are open to a discussion however our normal working week is 40 hours over 4 days with a protected day off and 1in3 Saturday morning. There is no OOH.

    We are here to help you succeed 

    We are an RCVS accredited, established practice with easy access to Dartford town centre and London (we are also located opposite a busy retail park so it’s great for lunches or a quick shop before or after work). There is free parking and on arriving at our practice, you will be greeted by our light and open waiting room, adjoining the waiting room we have 3 dedicated consult rooms which lead directly on to our open plan preparation area. Our separate theatre is well equipped and provides a dedicated space for sterile procedures to be carried out. In addition to all of this (yes, there’s more!) the practice also has a designated space for diagnostic imagery & dentistry.  

    Want to know about the fantastic facilities available? To name but a few, our team have access to ultrasound, multiparameter, ECG, in house lab Inc. microscope, digital x-ray, dentistry & doppler.

    We want to help you settle in therefore as standard, you will have a dedicated induction program where you are assigned with a work buddy/mentor. We offer a nice mixture of surgery and 15 minute consultations with time available to work up complex cases and we are in a great position where we can offer a higher volume of surgery time if this is an interest of yours.

    - We have a super supportive team consisting of 3 Veterinary Surgeons, 3 RVN's (we are looking for a 4th), 1 SVN, 1 ANA and our 7 supporting team members. We also regularly have visiting specialists in Orthopaedics, Cardiology and Imaging.

Nurse vacancies

We are always looking for dynamic, experienced veterinary nurses who are passionate about animal health and welfare.

Our Registered Veterinary Nurses are the absolute backbone of our practices, and generally have a hand in most areas day to day which includes; carrying out scheduled procedures (subject to appropriate training), anaesthesia monitoring, scrubbing in, looking after our inpatient care, carrying out various types of nurse clinics, completing laboratory duties and much more!

  • Here at Easipetcare Kettering, we are looking for a dedicated and friendly Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our team. We are happy to consider a new grad or experienced Registered Veterinary Nurse.
    As a valuable member of our team you would be responsible for consultations, anaesthesia support, pharmacy and lab duties, inpatient care, client communications, maintaining a clean environment and collaborating with your other team members.

  • Here at easipetcare Streatham we are looking for an enthusiastic and confident Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our team. 



    The general day-to-day nursing duties will include; theatre work, medical nursing, nurse clinics, and helping with reception if there is a need. We will also support you in additional responsibilities such as Student Nurse training if this is an interest. You will work closely with the Head Nurse and rest of the nursing team and the Head Veterinary Surgeon to ensure that our core values are met.

  • Here at Easipetcare, Reading we are looking for an enthusiastic and confident Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our team. Duties include nurse consults, anaesthesia, inpatient care, lab work, schedule 3 (with training), reception work (this will be minimal) as well as taking on individual tasks such as being in charge of the isolation and being the infection control designated persons.

     

    We would welcome both full-time and part-time applicants. The full-time position is typically 40 hours over 4 or 5 days per week with a combination of earlies from 8 am – 4:30 pm and lates from 11 am – 7:30 pm. It also involves 1:4 Saturday mornings and there is no OOH. We value our nurses and recognise the integral part they play within our teams, which is why we are able to offer flexible working hours.
