Q&A with our Receptionist Joanne

10th September 2019

” maintain your pets health as much as you would your own”

Name: Joanne Foord

Position: Receptionist

Location: easipetcare Streatham

What is your favourite animal?

Although I would say I love all animals equally, lions fascinate me!

At what age did you decide to work in the animal industry?

I can’t say a specific age, but ever since my childhood.

Do you have any pets of your own?

Yes, a Chihuahua named Teddy 🙂

What is the funniest or most memorable experience you’ve had with a client?

So far it is with a client who rescues and rehomes cats, and this is my most memorable moment as it made me very happy to know people still do all they can for less fortunate pets.

What is your favourite thing about working for easipetcare?

My favourite thing about working for easipetcare is being in an environment where the staff and clients have the same passion as I do.

If you had a different career what would it be?

If I had another career it would probably be working abroad with wild cats.

What is the best piece of advice you would give to a pet owner or client?

One piece of advice I would always give to a pet owner or client is to maintain your pets health as much as you would your own. If you think something might be wrong it won’t hurt to get your pet a health check.

Do you or have you done any additional volunteer work with animals outside of work?

I am not currently volunteering, but I have previously volunteered at a range of establishments, from domesticated rescues to wildlife rescues.

What kind of animal do you think you are most like and why?

A cat, I love to explore new things and I am extremely independent.

At easipetcare we are passionate about delivering a first class service at affordable prices. Your pet’s welfare is always our first priority.
