This beautiful little wagtail fledgling was found in our Dartford car park and after watching it for a day it has now been handed over to a wildlife expert.
As this is the time of year for little ones to start leaving the nest if you do find a fledgling on the ground, unless there is an obvious injury, you should actually allow time for the parents to come down to it.
So monitor the bird first and only take it to the vets if you have to…
Also, if you do take a bird to the vets it is very important to make note of where you found it so it can be released into the same area later 🙂
