As part of the government’s plans to limit the spread of Coronavirus, the public are being urged to avoid social contact wherever possible. However, If you are at all worried about your precious pet we can arrange a video or telephone consult so you can speak to a vet without leaving the house.
How does it work?
The process is very simple, just follow these steps.
Step 1: Phone us and advise the receptionist that you’d like to arrange a video consultation.
Step 2: The receptionist will take some information from you and explain how the consultation will work. They’ll then arrange your video consultation over the phone (which includes taking the full consult payment- you can pay online!).
Step 3: Your video consultation will take place at the arranged date and time. Your vet will advise you of the next steps you need to take.
If you do not have access to video calls we can still help with a traditional phone consult.
What if I still need to come in to see a vet?
Follow these simple steps:
Don’t walk into the practice if you believe you’ve been exposed – we need to keep everyone safe.
Instead, phone us and explain your situation. We’ll arrange a suitable way of conducting your appointment that is in everyone’s best interests.
You will not be charged an additional consultation fee, however the case will be worked up to the cost of a normal consultation fee, paying only the difference (minus the £20 for the cost of the video/ telephone consult).
