Our Covid-19 Update

CORONAVIRUS UPDATE 18.07.2021

Important Customer Notice!

Despite the change in Government policy from tomorrow, we kindly ask clients to continue to wear face coverings when visiting us in practice. This is to ensure the safety of our staff and clients alike and we will review this situation again in a few weeks time. Thank you for your understanding during this time, your patience and cooperation means the world to us.💕

CORONAVIRUS UPDATE 26.04.2021

We are open as usual!

We have COVID-19 safety practices in place – ensuring a safe environment for our clients

The following safety measures are in place:

  • Please ensure you wear a face covering at all times on our premises and adhere to social distancing guidelines.
  • If we are operating an open door policy we will only accept 1 person per visit.
  • Please use hand hygiene stations when entering the building.
  • Our preferred payment option is by card or online via our website.
  • We may on occasion be operating a closed-door policy but our team will provide clear instruction on what to do with your pet when you arrive.
  • If you are self-isolating or experiencing any symptoms please DO NOT visit the practice and reschedule or book an alternative video or telephone consultation.

For advice if you are self-isolating please watch this video

IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT VISITING OUR PRACTICES

Before you visit us please be aware of the new safety measures we have put in place at our practice. As well as the new screens in the consult rooms and reception, we have implemented a few new safety measures as follows:

⚠️ PLEASE WEAR A FACE MASK

Please be advised that from Friday 24th July, all clients visiting us will need to wear a face mask or face covering. Please remember to bring one with you to your next appointment.

Thank you 💕

⚠️ MAXIMUM NO. OF PEOPLE IN THE BUILDING
Only one pawrent will be allowed inside the building at a time so please do not bring children with you. If our waiting room is at maximum capacity you will need to wait outside until there is space for you to enter the building.

⚠️ ZONED SEATING & WAITING AREA
Where possible we have had to mark out zoned seating for each consult room to avoid unnecessary cross over between clients. Some seats will also be out of use to keep clients a safe distance apart.

⚠️ NO NEED TO WAIT, PAY ONLINE
You can now pay your invoice securely on our website. In some cases, like surgeries, you may be asked to pay a deposit in advance. So instead of paying over the phone you can now pay instantly through our website.

⚠️ PLEASE DO NOT VISIT IF YOU HAVE COVID SYMPTOMS
If you or any member of your household is suffering from any Covid-19 symptoms we kindly ask you not to visit the practice. If this is the case and your pet has an emergency please ask a symptomless friend or relative to bring your pet in to visit us.

⚠️ PLEASE BE PATIENT WITH US
We have all had to adapt to new ways of working and we hope that you will support our teams in their efforts to continue to deliver quality care, in a safe environment. We hope that by opening our doors it will allow us to speed up our current processes and care for more pets in need. However, whilst we want to get back to normal as soon as possible, please bear with us during this transition period. It is highly likely that your appointments and waiting times will still be longer than you are used to. Please be assured that our teams will be doing their best to treat everyone whilst adhering to the new safety guidelines.

THANK YOU 💕

CORONAVIRUS UPDATE 19.06.2020

We are delighted to announce that we are now able to administer all vaccines again. This includes kennel cough.

To ensure the safety of our staff we are still operating a ‘closed-door’ policy. You will be instructed to call when you arrive at the surgery (please remember to stay 2 meters away from anyone else at all times). You will need to hand over your pet, ideally on a long lead for dogs, outside our surgery door. Please ensure that you keep your mobile phone on for us to call you once the vet has seen your pet in consult.

Whilst our teams are doing everything they possibly can to provide the care our clients need, we feel it necessary to inform you that currently we only have 50% of our workforce supporting our busy practices. So please bear with us if it takes a little longer to answer the phone or respond to an email… our hands are extremely full at the moment 😉

easipetcare Chatham – we are pleased to be able to offer a full service at easipetcare Chatham, including routine neutering procedures. This is due to the fact that most of our staff are back and they have the capacity to perform these procedures ina  safe environment.
